Repte 12 mesos 12 teles 2019 / 12 months 12 fabrics challenge

No és la primera vegada que m'ho pregunto. No m'explico com algú (jo) que té tan poca idea de costura, és capaç d'acumular tantes teles...

Si, no sóc capaç de sortir d'una fira o d'una botiga de teles només amb el que realment necessito.

I, a més, vaig guardant llençols vells, restes de cortines, roba de vestir o qualsevol altra peça que em sembla que pot tenir una segona vida (que a vegades li arriba el torn, com al tipi que us ensenyava aquí; però que la majoria de vegades no surt de l'armari on acumulo el material).

Però aquest any m'he proposat no comprar ni una tela nova fins que no rebaixi a la meitat (com a mínim) la pila actual i, alhora, millorar la meva tècnica de costura a màquina.

I, com que em conec i no vaig sobrada de força de voluntat, el repte #12meses12telas de Las Marujadas de Peluchona m'ha semblat la millor manera de comprometre'm amb mi mateixa.

A la foto de sobre teniu les 12 teles que em proposo fer servir aquest 2019. Per algunes ja tinc algun projecte en ment, per la majoria... doncs no! A veure què se m'acut!

Sometimes I wonder, how can I have such a big amount of fabrics, when I have almost no idea of sewing?

That's me. I buy fabrics by impulse. And, on top of that, I store old sheets or clothes or anything that I think it may have a second chance in life (which seldom happens, with, maybe, the exception of the tipi I showed you here).

But this year I'm determined to improve my sewing skills with the fabrics I already have.

That's why I'm enrolling #12months12fabrics challenge (well, I'm enrolling just to make sure I follow my own resolution... which is, by the way, pretty weak... ahem...).
