Estoig tapestry de ganxet / Tapestry crochet pouch

I és que quan em dóna per una tècnica m'hi dedico fins a l'avorriment...

I els darrers mesos m'ha donat pel tapestry, ja ho heu vist amb aquest cistell i aquest altre, o en l'estoig que us porto avui.

M'encanta el tapestry perquè t'ofereix possibilitats infinites sense complicacions i, no ens enganyem, sense haver-te de passar hores entrant fils un cop acabes la peça!

A més, el teixit queda molt polit per ambdues cares i ben atapeït, així que us podeu estalviar el folre si voleu.

Per si us ve de gust fer-vos el vostre, aquí us en deixo el patró:

Veureu que està fet amb punt baix tradicional, el que provoca que les creus quedin una mica inclinades. Si això us molesta, podeu fer el punt baix agafant només el llaç de darrere, tal com fa Steph Lewis en els seus dissenys (a Instagram us ensenyava fa uns dies un altre estoig que he fet seguint un dels seus patrons). D'aquesta manera, els dissenys conserven més la "perpendicularitat", però amb l'inconvenient, pel meu gust, de les "ratlles" horitzontals que queden. Pel proper patró provaré d'agafar només el llaç de davant, a veure si així aconsegueixo unir els avantatges d'ambdues opcions, ja us explicaré.

From time to time, I get hooked to some technique. And I use this technique in almost every single project I crochet...

By now it's the time of tapestry crochet. As you may have seen in this basket or that one or in the pouch I show you today.

What I love the most from tapestry is it gives you endless design options, being a pretty easy technique. And, once you finish your project, you don't need to spend ages weaving in ends!!

Furthermore, the wrong side looks almost as pretty as the right side, so you can skip the fabric lining too.

Here you have the free pattern:

I crocheted it with plain single crochet stitch. That's why the design looks a bit "leaned" to the right. You would get a straighter design using back loop only single crochet stitch (as in the Steph Lewis pouch I showed in Instagram some weeks ago).

Next time I'll try it with front loop only single crochet stitch, as I would like to get that same "straight" effect, but without the front loop visible in the final design...
